Built in Nairobi, working internationally

Data XL is built from Nairobi, with roots and relationships across East Africa and Europe. Our team brings together engineering, data, public health, product, and delivery experience for clients and partners who need serious technical work done well.

Can you work with us even if we're not based in East Africa?

Yes. We work across borders, with a delivery base in East Africa and strong links to Europe and international partners.

Do you only work with existing systems, or can you build something new too?

Both. We design and build new software, data platforms, cloud infrastructure, and AI-enabled tools, and we also stabilise, extend, modernise, or integrate systems that are already in use.

How do you handle AI and data privacy?

We build AI around real workflows, data context, permissions, privacy, and governance.

Can you use our internal development tools?

Yes. We can work inside your GitHub, GitLab, code servers, cloud accounts, ticketing systems, CI/CD pipelines, or other internal infrastructure.
